HID Globes
HID Globes do not use a filament as halogen or incandescent globes do. Light is prodused by an arc in a xenon gas filled envelope. This method produces 3 times as much light compared to halogen lighting and five times as much life (3000 hours). The light produced is rated much closer to daylight and greatly improves night time driving over standard halogen lighting.
